In some cases, like when a contact has given you their contact info, you may want to manually bypass the Safety Net inside Salesloft by conducting the following steps (or if you prefer a video summary, here's one 🎬).

Reasons you may want to bypass the Safetynet tend to be:

- You're adding the prospect to a 'non-email' cadence (meaning it has no email steps for touchpoints).

- You've clarified the email is correct with the prospect through a phone call or Linkedin DM.

- You've already had past engagement with the prospect over email.

Therefore, in the cases where any of those three reasons apply, you can bypass the Safety Net inside Salesloft through the following process:

*Please note - if none of the above reasons apply for bypassing the Safety Net, proceeding to contact the recipient is likely to hurt your deliverability.

1. Navigate to the contact in Salesloft:

a) You can do this by searching for the email address Allegrow has listed as prevented in your Salesloft search bar.

b) You'll see here a note has been added to the contact that they've been removed from your Cadence with the reason for removal.

2. Currently, there are three options to bypass the Safetynet outlined below (3-5) when appropriate:

- Use option '3.' - When you want to prospect the contact exclusively on channels which do not include email.

- Use option '4.' - When you have a specific template, you need to send the prospect and need to schedule follow-up touchpoints.

- Use option '5.' - When you're sending a 100% customised email without follow-up touchpoints.

Proceed to review the guidance for the option which makes the most sense for your use case.

3. Enroll the prospect via the 'Cadence' tab within Salesloft:

a) Navigate to the 'Cadence' tab

b) Select the cadence you want to enrol your prospect into. (this should be a non-email cadence to avoid risky sending).

c) Select 'People Actions' in the top right-hand corner of the screen and enrol the prospect into the Cadence.

4. Email the prospect through Salesloft as a 'Quick Action' (When you're sure the email is safe to contact):

a) Select 'Email' on the 'Quick Action' menu to the left of the contact screen.

b) Select the template that you wish to send the prospect.

c) After personalising, select 'Send', then proceed to schedule a 'Task' on the prospect record for the next follow-up step you would like to take.

5. Email the prospect directly through your email interface (When you're sure the email is safe to contact):

a) Enter your Google Workspace or O365 email interface.

b) Write the email content you would like to send the prospect or use a template.

c) Select 'Loft it' inside your email interface to send the finalized version.

*Remember - Rather than bypassing the Safety Net you can use this as an opportunity to prospect a different contact at the same account by uploading a new prospect in the 'People' section of Salesloft, or moving on to prospecting a different account altogether and avoiding risky sending behaviour.
