Occasionally, you may see a notification in Allegrow that your CSV to the SN Everywhere has failed to upload. Due to different formatting on CSV files, you may need to make some adjustments for the SN Everywhere to accept the file.

In order to ensure your file is uploaded successfully so that we're able to run risk analysis on the contacts that you're looking to prospect, we would recommend the following:

  1. Open the CSV that you have downloaded in Numbers/Sheets/Excel (whichever program you use on your PC to view CSV files).

  2. Resave the file as a CSV file to your computer; this may give you the option to override the initial file - we would recommend doing this.

  3. Re-attempt the upload to Allegorw.

Some common issues that we see are outlined below:

1) Not uploading a CSV: If the file that you're attempting to upload to Allegrow is not a CSV file, then we will be unable to process this.

2) Including a Title in the first line: Including a title at the top of your file may skew how many columns we detect and will result in an unsuccessful upload.

3) Merged Cells at the top of the file: Merging the cells at the top of the file will mean that we're unable to correctly detect how many rows and columns are in the file. Please remove the merged cells and title, resave as a CSV and re-upload to Allegrow.

4) Not including an email column: To be able to run risk analysis, the SN Everywhere requires an email address column, as this is where we run the risk analysis to provide you with results.

5) Formatting from Source: Occasionally, depending on the source of the original download, we may be unable to upload the original CSV that was downloaded from your data source. On this occasion, please open the file, save it as a CSV and attempt re-uploading it to Allegrow.

As a final point, if you're facing issues with an upload, please reach out to our team at <support@allegrow.co> for further assistance.
