To get maximum value from Allegrow and keep emails for your organisation hitting the primary inbox, you’ll want to involve every email user and department that sends outbound emails.

With this in mind, different types of users will need access to different parts of the platform to achieve their objectives.

As an admin, you’re fully in control of what permission sets each user has.

We have provided pre-set permission templates for different role types to speed up the process of adding users to the platform and assigning permissions. Here’s a breakdown of when to select specific templates for a user you’ve invited:

  • The ‘Prospecting/SDR’ user type is typically the best permission set for a sales representative who spends more than 10% of their time on generating new pipeline. This type of user will have the ability to conduct the following:

    • Receive and send interaction (test) email traffic on a mailbox they connect to help monitor and improve their sender reputation.

    • Connect mailboxes to the platform.

    • Upload and download their prospect lists to the Safet Net Everywhere and view their own flagged contacts to help improve their sender reputation and efficiency.

    • View company details but not update them.

    • View the leaderboard to see how their reputation compares to other team members.

    • View insights inside the platform on their sender reputation.

  • The ‘Closer / AE’ user is a great fit for sales reps who focus more on closing deals and less on prospecting. They have most of the capabilities as ‘Prospecting/SDR’ users, with two key differences:

    • They do not send or receive test email traffic as they are not conducting prospecting. If the user does need interactions to improve sender reputation you can turn these permissions on.

    • They can create and view content test results to see which variations of the content they send to active opportunities or prospects are more likely to be filtered into spam.

  • The ‘Marketer’ user types are usually the best permission sets to assign a member of the marketing team. They have the ability to do everything a ‘Closer / AE’ user can and the following capabilities:

    • Connect and disconnect the platform from external Safety Net integrations, and view all integrated members.

    • View the entire team's sender reputations and spam rate.

    • View and download all Safety Net Everywhere list uploads across the whole team, as well as their own uploads.

  • The 'Admin', user type is a role you select in the ‘User Role’ section rather than ‘Permissions’. This user type should be for leadership and admins who are provisioning the platform. Which includes all the permissions other user types have access to and these additional capabilities:

    • Update the roles and permissions of other team members.

    • Invite team members to join the platform.

    • View and edit throttling across all connected users mailboxes.

Now to specifically define those permissions in the admin panel navigate to ‘Settings’ then ‘Team’ and conduct the following:

1. You can do this by selecting ‘settings’ on the user you invited:

2. Then in the ‘Permissions’ section you can either select a template of permissions or individually which ones you would like a user to have:

3. Now once you’ve reviewed each of the permissions the user will have, select ‘Update’ to make sure these are in effect on the member's account:
