Enabling the Safety Net on your account via an integration (like Salesloft, Outreach or Close), means you will start to see email activity from Allegrow notifying you of the preventions that we're making.

When a prevention has been made, you will receive an email from <ruari@updates.allegrow.co> with the subject 'Safety Net: Email Prevented'.

The email will also provide some important information for you to review about the prevention that Allegrow has made.

What does a prevention from Allegrow mean?

Just because an email is valid, it does not mean that it should receive emails from Sales Teams.

The prospect may have moved on from the business, and the data provider may not have been updated yet. The prospect may manually report the email as spam, which can harm your overall approach.

When you receive this email from Allegrow, this means that we've deemed the contact that you're looking to prospect as risky to email and could harm your sender reputation and outbound approach if you reach out to them.

Reaching out to contacts that increase your bounce rate or result in a manual spam report sends risk signals to providers like Google and Microsoft that you're not a trusted sender and more of your future 'Safe' sends will start to land in the spam folder naturally, missing the prospect you're aiming to contact.

To make the most of the preventions that have been made by the Safety Net, we would recommend following the relevant guidance outlined here.

Admin Guidance:

You can also use our guidance here to ensure that you have enabled custom fields inside the SEP of your choice.

Alternatively, you can also coordinate with your Customer Success Manager to set up automation inside the SEP to proactively move prevented prospects into a more appropriate sequence.

If you have any questions, please reach out to <support@allegrow.co> or your Customer Success Manager.
