When you connect your mailbox to Allegrow, we'll start sending emails from your mailbox to other mailboxes on the Allegrow network. The traffic that Allegrow simulates will contact a large variety of content to help give a good overall picture of your sender reputation.

These emails will always have the tag "- myNS." or "nsMotif." in the subject line.

When you connect your mailbox to Allegrow, you should use the guidance here to set up a productivity label. This will help limit the amount of Allegrow traffic that you see in your mailbox and have an

To clarify, the productivity label that has been set up should only be for any emails with the tag '- myNs' in their subject line.

In addition to the above emails with the tag "- myNS." in their subject line, which you have just created a rule for, you will also notice Motif emails inside your inbox due to the platform activity.

Motif emails will have the tag "nsMotif." in their subject line - these emails should simply be marked as read and archived by you manually in batches (we advise every 48 hours).

I'm seeing bounces from Test Traffic Allegrow is Simulating

There are two main reasons emails bounce in this way:

(a) Sometimes your emails can be rejected due to your sender reputation indicating a high spam score or negative history with a specific email provider.

(b) There can be issues with the receiver account which causes the emails to bounce.

In order to minimise this, we verify all accounts in the network on a regular basis and automatically remove accounts from the network if they are producing hard bounces.

As an overall point, when category β€˜(a)’ applies (and it will a small portion of the time) those accounts will not be removed from the network and will continue to produce a bounce, which is a reflection of your current spam rate/reputation.

Please note that you can expect a small number of bounces to be produced as a result of using the platform.

Of course, we have studied and constantly monitor the overall bounces in the network and can clarify that addresses producing bounces are in the minority of email activity when you consider the overall number we simulate for you.

Therefore, the degree of bounces in the platform will not be significant enough to impact your sender reputation

Admin Guidance:

The test traffic is an optional activity for the mailboxes that you connect to Allegrow. You can follow our guidance here to set the relevant permissions to remove the test activity.

This will remove any reputation data that Allegrow provides for the mailbox.
