This setting is only available to Admin users. If you do not have access to the Settings page, please reach out to your team's Allegrow Admin.
In some cases, the Safety Net may flag a contact as risky, but you have direct confirmation that the email address is safe to contact (making it risky for most outbound emailers, but not you in this one-off case). For example:
a) The contact has responded to you via this email address in the last 14 days.
b) The contact has explicitly told you to email them at this exact address.
When either of the above applies, an Admin can add the email to the Allowlisted Emails list so that it will not be removed when enrolled in a sequence or cadence.
Important: The Allowlist is designed for cases where you have specific evidence that an individual email is safe. If you're looking to prospect risky contacts through non-email channels instead, the better approach is to enroll them in a sequence or cadence that only has call and LinkedIn steps and does not have the Safety Net enabled. You can follow our guidance here to manage which cadences the Safety Net runs on.
To add an email to the Allowlist, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to 'Settings' in your Allegrow Dashboard using the left-hand side navigation pane.
2) Select 'Integrations' and choose the integration relevant to your Sales Engagement Platform (Outreach, Salesloft, or HubSpot).
3) Scroll down to the 'Allowlisted Emails' section.
4) Enter the email address you wish to exclude from Safety Net prevention and select 'Add'.
The email will now appear in the Allowlisted Emails table with the date it was added. Moving forward, this email address will not be removed by the Safety Net when it is enrolled in a sequence or cadence connected to that integration.
To remove an email from the Allowlist, select the red cross icon to the right of the email entry.
*Please note -- if none of the initial reasons apply for allowlisting the contact, proceeding to email the recipient is likely to hurt your deliverability (even emails that don't bounce and see 'opens' can be invalid, due to catch-all server configurations).
